"På nye Ulsmåg skole i Bergen sklir kunstverkene inn i en perfekt helhet av arkitektur, HMS-design, farger og former.

Av seks forhåndsinviterte kunstnere til en lukket skissekonkurranse har Marisa Ferreira og Ebba Bohlin fått oppdraget å produsere kunst til fellesskapets rom. På bestilling å sette kunstverk inn i en arkitektonisk sammenheng, å åpne for kunstopplevelser og å utfordre og stille spørsmål. Ingen liten oppgave i den offentlige kunstens navn altså. Skolens kunstutvalg formulerer i kunstplanen en forventning om at de kommende kunstprosjektene vil forholde seg til arkitekturen, til byggets miljøprofil og at kunst og arkitektur sammen kan gi skolen identitet. Tematisk ønsker en seg at verkene relaterer seg til naturens kretsløp, de fire elementene og det «organiske».

Having in consideration the given theme—nature— in order to express the identity of the site together with its architectural building and knowing that a school is by nature a place of joy and play, a place where children perceive, experiment and create, "Beautiful forms unfold from unity" is a «no fixed» piece of art inspired by the Platonic solids. In another hand, the infinite number of perspectival views we can have in the surroundings of the cantina to this wall inspired me to create an object that reflects the «geometry of nature» and the straight lines of the architectural building. More than the used system to develop its final design, interests me the phenomenological inquiry of bodily experience in which the viewer is invited to participate.
